Pictures from the PIP following the opening of the new Hammersmith and City/Circle line LU ticket hall on 24 June a few months after the new Paddington taxi rank opened on 13 February 2012.

The ticket hall structure has yet to be extended towards the taxi rank and when complete will have a third staircase to LU platforms. At the other end, phase three fit out of staff accommodation has also yet to start and will be completed in 2014.

LU platforms have been extended ready for new S-Stock trains and a fire escape has been installed to satisfy Section 12 fire regulations.
