Terms and conditions

Listed below are the terms and conditions and relevant legal information which apply to the Transport Briefing website and associated email newsletters. If you are an advertiser or subscriber you might like to read the appropriate sections.

Terms of Use

Access to and use of the Transport Briefing website and the information, materials, products and services available are subject to all applicable laws and regulations and to the Terms of Use listed below. By accessing this website, you agree to these Terms of Use which form a legally binding agreement. If you do not agree, please exit this site. We reserve the right to update these terms from time to time.

Subscriptions

Individual subscriptions to Transport Briefing (options 1, 2 or 5) are provided on the understanding that email briefings, passwords or any other material supplied by Transport Briefing or the publisher, Acumen Intelligence Ltd, are for use by the named subscriber only, unless an alternative agreement has been reached with the publisher. Dissemination of briefings, passwords and other copyright material to others without prior agreement from the publisher constitutes a breach of our terms and conditions. We would ask those who intend to share information from Transport Briefing across an organisation to choose subscription options 3, 4 or 6.

Acumen Intelligence Ltd will email Transport Briefing Weekly newsletters to up to 10 named individuals within a single organisation that has subscribed to the service under options 3, 4 or 6. Updates to any of those ten individuals' details during the subscription period will be applied within reason. The company reserves the right not to publish the Transport Briefing email newsletter every week of the year, although usually there will be at least 47 issues published and distributed during any 12-month period.

Recruitment Advertising Fair Use

Advertisers must take responsibility for ensuring all recruitment ads posted are accurate, for positions currently available and are removed when a vacancy is filled, withdrawn or no longer available for whatever reason. We will automatically remove ads when they reach the closing date specified in the ad but if, for whatever reason, the vacany is no longer available before the closing date, advertisers must communicate this to us by email. All ads must comply with UK law and naturally we will not post an ad on the job board if we believe it to be inappropriate for whatever reason. During times when a large number of recruitment ads are posted live on the site we may restrict the number displayed by an individual organisation and may also limit the number of ads included in Transport Briefing news alert emails to the space available. We reserve the right to remove any or all recruitment ads and refuse recruitment advertising accounts to any organisation at our discretion.

Ownership

Unless otherwise indicated, the Transport Briefing website and its design, text, content, selection and arrangement of elements, organisation, graphics, design, compilation, digital conversion and other matters related to the site are protected under applicable copyrights, trademarks and other proprietary (including, but not limited to, intellectual property) rights and are the property of Acumen Intelligence Ltd or the material is included with the permission of the rights owner and is protected pursuant to copyright and trademark laws. All rights reserved.

None of these elements may be used, copied, reproduced, distributed, republished, downloaded, modified, displayed, posted or transmitted in any form or by any means, including, but not limited to, electronic, mechanical, photocopying, recording, or otherwise, without our express prior written permission. Should we have reason to believe a subscriber account is being used in any way that infringes copyright, including reproducing content from the Transport Briefing website or Transport Briefing newsletters on another website without permission having been granted in advance, we may suspend the subscriber account. In such a case any refund of a remaining subscription term will be solely at our discretion.
