Gallery 267: Birmingham Curzon

Pictures from February 2014

Birmingham City Council has published a draft masterplan which sets out how Birmingham Curzon High Speed 2 station could fit into a regenerated Eastside area.

The blueprint - which is dependent on HS2 being built - is described as one of the biggest urban regeneration schemes in Britain. It also provides some eye-catching images of how the new Birmingham HS2 city centre station could look and how it would be connected to other transport modes including the Midland Metro tram network.
