Larkhall branch line reopening

The Milngavie-Larkhall branch line closed to passenger trains in 1968 and its reopening on
8 December 2005 marked the first branch line to be reopened in Scotland for more than
25 years. Three new stations were built on the line, and a fourth, at Kelvindale, opened earlier in the year as part of the Larkhall project.
