
Railways Systems Engineer

What is the Role?
My client, a leading global engineering consultancy is looking for a Railway Systems Engineer to become an integral member of a rapidly growing multi- discipline railway team in India
You will be involved in a core management role which is actively involved in metro, transit and other interesting railway projects.
Responsibilities include,
- Working on a range of multi-disciplinary projects involving rail systems integration, interface management, train operations planning, rolling stock maintenance, systems design and modelling
- engineering designers and consultants.
- Deliver challenging financial targets.
- Rigorously apply Quality and safety Systems to all projects
What Skills do I need?
- Ideally, a Chartered Engineer with project life-cycle experience
- Degree in major engineering discipline
- Experience of railway systems ranging from integration, interface modelling, project management and due diligence
- At least 7years experience of Railway Engineering (ideally 5 years will have involved project and team management.)
- Demonstrable experience of managing a multi-functional team in railway engineering design and / or consultancy.
- Knowledge of International railway standards, procedures, quality and safety systems.
