Transport Briefing has a small but growing library of specialist transport photographs. The Imagesource service makes these images available for use by Transport Briefing subscribers at no additional charge. Subscribers can use them pretty much as they wish - for example on a company website, in a project report, research paper or Powerpoint presentation.
Photos to which Transport Briefing owns the copyright are available through Imagesource. These can be identified by their IS numbers - either in the top right hand corner of the picture (for images accompanying news reports) or below the film strips featured on the gallery index pages. Additional galleries will be added to the site in due course as will older pictures we currently have on file.
Transport Briefing subscribers are granted permission to download IS tagged images from the website as required. In most cases high resolution versions are also available for use in print publications. To obtain a high-res image subscribers will need to complete a short online request form. We ask that a credit reading 'Transport Briefing' appears alongside any Imagesource photo used.
Imagesource photos are licensed for use by Transport Briefing under the assumption that they will be used for appropriate business or personal use and we reserve the right to revoke this permission if we believe images are not being used as intended. The Imagesource service only covers those pictures on the website with IS numbers - we regret that we are unable to make available pictures for which we do not own the copyright. Imagesource pictures may not be sold or relicensed and must always be credited to Transport Briefing.
We reserve the right to limit high resolution image requests per subscribing individual or organisation to 10 per month, depending on the popularity of the service. Only Transport Briefing subscribers are permitted to use Imagesource photos and any other individual or organisation doing so will be breaching copyright as explained in our terms and conditions.
