Canary Wharf Contractors has built the box for Crossrail Canary Wharf station and on Monday 26 March formally handed it over to allow Crossrail Ltd and contractors to prepare for the arrival of tunnel boring machines Victoria and Elizabeth.
CWC will continue working on the site - fit-out of the ticket hall floor (above the platforms) was due to start at the end of March and above ground work is beginning on construction of the western entrance to the station complex.
